Alternative Wedding in Llandudno, Conwy
I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Jess and Gareth's alternative wedding, and it couldn’t have suited them more perfectly. As self-confessed elder emos, their big day was a beautiful reflection of their style and personality.
Held at Dylan’s Restaurant in Llandudno, the venue’s beautiful architecture and those bursts of October sunlight created the perfect atmosphere for their celebration.
All the guests turned up in black, creating a striking visual against the gorgeous backdrop of the venue. The bridesmaids were on point too, dressed in black with quirky touches like fishnet socks and Doc Martens.
Music played a big part, with a mix of great tunes throughout the day, plus a bit of ABBA to get everyone dancing. And instead of a traditional meal, Jess and Gareth went for pizza – a laid-back choice that suited them down to the ground.
Special mention has to go to their little boy Elliot, who did an amazing job as ring bearer. He stole the show in his little red velvet jacket!
It was a joy to capture such a fun and memorable day for a couple so true to themselves. Here's to more weddings that break the mould!
