I am a relaxed and unobtrusive photographer based in Gwynedd in North Wales. I absolutely love telling the rollercoaster story of a wedding day through bright and candid images. I have photographed some beautiful weddings all over Wales, Scotland and England and I feel truly blessed to be able to call this my job.

I absolutely love the hustle and bustle of a wedding, the organised chaos which creates so many amazing memories for me to capture in my candid style. While I love jangling with your wedding party and guests, I also love to blend in to the background to ensure I capture those unique moments and connections which may pass you by on the day - some of the best photographs I’ve ever taken have been where the guests aren’t even aware I’m photographing them.

We finally got married in 2022 after 3 postponements due to COVID, Lowri was always accommodating and friendly whilst rearranging each date with her. Lowri is everything you want from a wedding photographer. The process of booking was very easy and Lowri was quick to respond and transparent with costs and various options available. The pre-wedding Zoom was very helpful to know what to expect on the day and to understand better how Lowri goes about her work. On the day of the wedding, Lowri was brilliant. As two people that really do hate having their photos taken, Lowri made us feel at ease throughout the day. Lowri blended in amazingly and has an obvious talent for capturing happy and intimate moments without intruding. When my now-husband initially popped the big question Lowri was one of the first suppliers we knew we wanted to book immediately. After previously experiencing her relaxed and candid approach to photography at a close friend's wedding, we knew she was the perfect fit for the style of wedding and photos we had envisioned. Lowri's talents shone through on the day as well as in the photos we received - we had not anticipated wet and gloomy weather in July but she was able to use her creative talent to her advantage and captured truly amazing shots through the pouring rain as well as the bright sunshine. Lowri is an incredible photographer and we are so happy that she was available for our wedding. We were really keen to capture moments rather than planned photos and we cannot tell you how amazing the photos are. In the lead-up, we met with Lowri to discuss what we wanted and plan things out. Things didn't go exactly as planned on the day but Lowri just rolled with it and everything still went smoothly. From the moment we got engaged, I knew I wanted Lowri to be our wedding photographer - I love the relaxed and informal style! After having to re-arrange the wedding three times thanks to covid, nothing was too much trouble for Lowri. She was so supportive and flexible with moving the wedding dates.

When choosing a photographer for the wedding, it was very important for us to have a person who photographed naturally. I had followed Lowri's page for a while and knew for sure that she was the person I would choose to create memories of the special day.

Asking Lowri to be our wedding photographer was the best decision we made for our wedding day. Hi! My name is Lowri-Ellen.
I was born in rural North Wales and spent a lot of my upbringing in a small village on a mountain surrounded by beautiful scenery. I feel privileged to have been brought up around such beautiful surroundings and it gives me a real buzz when I’m photographing a wedding in similar surroundings too. While I’ve enjoyed time away from the country plenty of times, it makes coming back home worthwhile.
Some things you may not know about me… I am a fiancé to Adam, a mama to my gorgeous boys Gwil and Iori, and a dog mama to my crazy little cockapoo Bertie.
I love going to gigs, trash TV, a good flavoured gin and any sort of takeaway you can imagine. I love the beautiful scenery I am surrounded by but I also love a good city break (Edinburgh is my favourite and it’s where I got engaged!)
The couples I photograph are normal people. My couples are totally in love and are completely comfortable around each other, yet the main thing I hear from them is that they absolutely HATE getting their photo taken (I’m told this by 95% of couples!)
My couples really want wedding photos that look candid, natural, and un-staged. This is where my relaxed and laid-back approach comes into play and I’m able to make you feel comfortable enough around me to capture your true personality and relationship. I’ve even had some couples tell me that they loved getting their photograph taken after a session, which is a huge bonus!
